16-01-2005 - Woko Golf Hale Woko River Retreat - Canon A70(2) + underwater case for the storm front pic(Raining at time) - Had constant rolling thunder for a few hours before it started raining So I slipped the A70 in the underwater case and headed up the hill for some pics It didn't seem to impressive and the rain was intensifying, so a quick couple of pics and headed down for a swim in the river (which I found my wife already in) As we were flouting on a downie (air mattress) enjoying the rain we started to notice Big splashes as we paddled we wondered what may be causing it? (Tree drips, Heavy leaves, Frog from the sky) and then my wife picked a large chunk of ice from the water it just hit, and we both yelled "HALE" this was when we freaked and paddled like mad dogs for the shore (its impossible to walk in the river due to slippery rocks) so we made it out and used the downie to shield us from what was now apparent"Golf ball hale" coming down around us, but it was only lite, I think we just got the edge of the main outfall I collected as much hale as I could find around the place (about 45 square meters) and found a small eski 3 quarts full, but it lasted till the next day and was used to bring back our food This is my first golfy hale - very GOOD - Pic of oncoming storm front in rain - And the Hale after first collection from yard 5 m" --- --- Hale Murree --- TheSkyGuy
